Saudi Aramco opens its office in India

Dhahran, Muharram 18, 1439, October 08, 2017, SPA -- The President of Saudi Aramco and Chief Executive Officer Amin bin Hassan Al-Nasser opened in New Delhi today the office of Aramco Asia India, in the presence of Indian Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of India, a number of Indian government officials, heads of major Indian oil companies, and business and industry partners.
Al-Nasser stressed that India is a very important growth center for the expansion of Saudi Aramco's business, especially as energy demand in India is the second largest in the world in terms of population.
Al-Nasser added that Aramco's Asia office is a strategic link between the company's headquarters in Dhahran and New Delhi to meet future energy supplies to drive the country's growth and development, adding that India has the human capital and expertise that can help us grow.
