Oman- SalamAir launches two daily flights to Dubai International Airport


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- SalamAir launched its first daily direct flights from Muscat to Dubai International Airport with two flights a day, on Sunday.

Mohammed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, was quoted in a press release as saying, 'The past years have witnessed a significant increase in the number of passengers between Muscat and Dubai. In addition to being a gateway to the most prominent business, entertainment and tourism destinations in the world, Dubai International Airport is one of the region's largest airports and is a major hub connecting a wide network of destinations around the world.'

He added that the company's decision to operate daily flights to Dubai International Airport is in response to the increasing demand for budget flights.

He said that the company would provide reasonable fares for the flights which will contribute to strengthening the bonds of cooperation between Oman and the UAE. SalamAir will continue to fly to Al Maktoum International Airport until October 28, after which all flights will be transferred to Dubai International Airport.
