Mowasalat attends Aspire exhibition in London


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mowasalat (Karwa) has participated in the eighth ASPIRE4SPORT Congress & Exhibition 2017, the annual B2B and networking event organised by Aspire Zone, in London.
The transport provider's representatives attended business deliberations held across different levels as well as B2B meetings with prominent UK companies, Mowasalat said in a statement.
Mowasalat stressed that it is gearing up, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and in accordance with the national strategy, to 'beef up its resources with respect to fleet, operation size, drivers, staffing and adopting latest training programmes by embracing the latest technology and with innovative measures.
The company is expanding in phases to attain the projected target for Qatar to successfully deliver the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali and Qatar's ambassador to the UK Yousef bin Ali al-Khater were among the dignitaries who joined the Mowasalat team at the company' stand and provided them with full support.
Mowasalat, representing the transport industry of Qatar, showcased innovative measures in 'providing transport solutions for large events to contribute to hosting a successful World Cup and leave a legacy for large events, the statement noted.
ASPIRE4SPORT was held at the home ground of Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge, with the participation of more than 70 of big companies from around the world.
During the two-day event, some of the most influential figures in football along with leading members of the scientific community met to discuss the challenges facing sports and relevant updates.
