Dubai, UAE, October 8, 2017: Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF) is showcasing a full line-up of advanced innovative solutions at GITEX Technology Week 2017, which runs from Oct 8th 12th at Dubai World Trade Centre. Key highlights of Panasonic's showcase at GITEX this year are Stadium Mapping Solution, Dome Projection Mapping Solution, Transparent Screen, 360o Live Camera, latest Compact Cinema Camera EVA 1 and the Interactive Solution. The other products displayed at the booth are a series of visual solutions; office automation, rugged mobile computers and communication solutions.
The immersive picture quality of Panasonic's latest line-up of projectors and lenses, which are showcased at GITEX 2017, have already gained global recognition through permanent installation assignments at museums, theatres, theme parks and events all over the world. The recent Dubai Festival City project (United Arab Emirates), that uses Panasonic's latest projectors, has secured two Guinness world records for ‘World's Largest Water Screen Projection' and ‘World's Largest Permanent Projection Mapping'.
With these latest projection mapping solutions one can deliver absolute immersion in temporary/permanent installations in single/multi-projection layouts. The new technology creates realistic image projections that can be adopted in different businesses and retail settings. These solutions bring in a high level of excitement to sports, musical or any mega events at large stadiums.

1. Stadium Mapping
One of the key highlights of the show is the Stadium Mapping miniature that is created based on the 'Osaka Derby Projection Night' conducted earlier this year in Japan's Suita Football stadium produced and directed by Panasonic. Panasonic's latest line-up of PT-RZ970 projector utilized to create this solution unleashes the true power of imagination with 20,000-hour maintenance free endurance, and a SOLID SHINE laser with DLP projection balancing image quality. Engineered for a marathon performance, the PT-RZ970 is designed to fit into both temporary or permanent installation with immersive picture quality and practical features. It has a free 360-degree rotation with powerful brightness and lasting reliability. This product assures a convenient installation flexibility that gives a consistent and stable performance to deliver high quality.
2. Dome Mapping
Anything is possible with Panasonic's latest Dome Mapping solution created by using the latest high-resolution fisheye lens that delivers an immersive projection experience. This lens is the latest technological innovation by Panasonic that can be used in Dome Theatres, Planetariums, Theme Parks and Events. Allowing up to 183° of angle view, the lens supports high resolution 4K+ projection, wide lens shift for flexibility and surrounding focus correction when projecting from short distances. It is compatible with Panasonic 3-Chip DLP™ Projectors*

The showcased Dome Mapping solution uses Panasonic's latest 4K+ PT-RQ32K projector that allows resellers and staging professionals to upgrade their service quality while being cost-effective. Panasonic has ‘re-imagined' 4k projection with 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser flagship, maintaining image consistency for long with huge output power and less maintenance. The brand has created a live demo of dome-shaped projection to showcase this next generation imaging technology and demonstrate the fast and simple multi-mapping installation.
3. Transparent Screen
Transparent screen utilizes Panasonic's industry leading digital projection in a specially developed system that puts beautiful video images onto glass windows and doors on demand. The solution switches between transparent and screen modes allowing you to maintain transparent functionality as necessary and choose when to showcase stunning digital content for visual impact.
1. PT-RZ21K Projector
Panasonic's projectors can shine out at any size events with features fit for stage events, hall, signage, and surveillance applications. The PT-RZ21K 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser power assures elite performance and guarantees ultimate reliability. The projector comes with an easy to handle body and has a dynamic contrast laser light source modulation. It also has free 360-degree installation which is very versatile.
2. PT-MZ670 Projector
Equipped with advanced collaboration technologies, low noise operation and lightweight body, the PT-MZ670 projector is the perfect flexible, cost effective product for laser projection. Ideal for indoor projections, the MZ670 not only delivers high quality images, but is also lightweight and compact with flexible installation. The projector is durable with low maintenance with up to 20,000 hours.
3. Space player PT-JX200
The new 2,000 lumens 1-Chip DLP™ Space Player PT-JX200 laser projector is also on display at the Panasonic stand. This revolutionary DLP projector combines the functions of traditional lighting and video projection. It has hybrid colour wheel technology that creates four virtual colour segments for outstanding colour reproduction with minimal loss in brightness. Easy installation, adjustable projection angle and exceptionally long life features makes the Space Player a great solution.
4. LinkRay (Light ID Solution)
Welcoming a new age of interactive signage communication, the LinkRay is a unique information distribution technology that employs visible light to beam information to users. LinkRay delivers mobile content by enabling ordinary smartphones to read IDs sent from LED transmitters, such as displays, signboards and spotlights, and to connect to associated mobile content. The LinkRay can support inbound travellers in any language or increase buyer motivation with augmented signage. Interactive content that enhances exhibits at cultural facilities, such as museums, art galleries, and tourist centers, as well as material supporting retail items, can be provided instantly through the light beam technology.
5. Interactive Solution TH-75BQE1
The robust touchscreen, designed for interactive display is a lithe and consistent solution for education spaces and meeting rooms. The Multi-touchscreen increases usability and participant involvement. The cost-effective solution is also available with a wide array of functions from Panasonic's whiteboard software that includes a whiteboard mode, PowerPoint® presentation mode, as well as video and screen capture functions.
6. 360-degree camera (AW-360C10)
Panasonic's 360-degree Live Camera System AW-360C10 is capable of producing 360-degree video in uncompressed 4K. The system generates 2:1 equi-rectangular format 360-degree video by stitching the output of four cameras, giving the spectator the sense of immersion in variation of scenes, such as live broadcasts of sports, concerts and other stadium events. With a high level of operation, natural images are matched and stitched with the environment in real-time by automatically controlling the exposure and white balance of the four cameras without a computer. The ‘Real-time active stitching function' continuously changes the position by automatically detecting a subject at the seam.
7. EVA1 - Compact Cinema Camera
Panasonic is now aiming squarely at regaining ground in the cinema marketplace with the new EVA1, a compact cinema camera featuring a newly-designed Super35 sized sensor with 5.7K resolution. With amazing low-light performance, the EVA1 is built around a dual native ISO with an edge of dynamic luminance range that a digital camera can capture. Compact and lightweight, the AU-EVA1 is tailor-made for handheld shooting, but also well suited for documentaries, events, commercials, and music videos.
COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS
1. PBX and HD Visual Communications System
Panasonic's ingenious and compact IP-PBX system for the region are being displayed at Gitex 2017. The company's versatile communication solutions include the KX series HDVC & cameras, which offer dual network capability, and a control unit for multiple site connection. The new smart hybrid IP-PBX for the small office or home businesses will be on display along with the business communication server, UC pro and the wireless video intercom system.
2. Video Intercom
One of the main highlights at the company's communication solutions category display is the latest version of Wireless Video Intercom System, which is highly reliable and expandable up to 7 monitors. The door phone features a wide angle camera lens that covers not only horizontal but vertical images as well. The system also offers a high level of flexibility with a wireless monitor.
3. Document Scanner
To offer improved work efficiency to its customers, Panasonic has also put on demo its latest range of scanners which offer an endless list of benefits to the users such as low maintenance, cost efficiency, high-speed & high-volume scanning, dual scanning, reliable feed and much more.
4. Toughbook & ToughPad
Panasonic is also showcasing its latest mobile computing solutions at GITEX 2017, including the world's first rugged detachable laptop CF-20, CF-54, CF33. Along with the notebooks, there will also be a series of rugged tablets will be on display like the FZ-M1, FZ-G1 , FZ-Y1 designed to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers in the region, Panasonic's new mobile computing solutions are engineered to withstand drops, spills, dust and grime, not to mention optimal performance in the harshest environments.
