Jordan- Autumn conditions forecast Sunday, cloudy over next two days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 7 (Petra)-- A moderate autumn weather is expected on Sunday as temperatures becoming around their annual average reaching 28 degrees Celsius during day hours in the capital and the northern areas, while jumping to 36 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will cool down at night standing at 16 degrees in Amman and the surrounding areas and sliding to 22 in Aqaba.

A slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Monday with partly cloudy skies and a chance for light showers in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD said.

As for Tuesday, partly cloudy conditions will continue to prevail during daytime, while it will be relatively cold at night with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
