Qatar- Activists launch global campaign to boycott UAE
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A group of human rights activists announced the launch of the International Campaign to Boycott UAE at a think-tank workshop attended by dozens of rights defenders, campaigners and victims of UAE's discriminatory laws.
International Campaign to Boycott UAE (ICBU) will start its activities as early as October 15.
Various activist groups have already been formed in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, London, Rome, Madrid, and New York. Other groups will also be launched in other countries. They will operate under the General Secretariat of ICBU.
The campaign has been launched in response to the never-ending human rights violations of the United Arab Emirates, a spokesman said.
