Oman- NFC carries 179,210 passengers, 45,482 vehicles till September end

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- National Ferries Company (NFC) has carried 179,210 passengers on board its vessels till the end of the third quarter of the year.

It is an eight per cent growth on the 165,882 passengers transported during the same period in 2016.

Till the end of September the company carried 45,482 vehicles, a 15 per cent rise on the 39,667 vehicles it transported during the same period in 2016, stated NFC statistics.

The statistics also pointed out that the cargo volume on board the ferry fleet during the first nine months of the year reached 7,454 tonnes.
