(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Istanbul- The Royal Court Affairs (RCA) represented by the Royal Gardens and Farms has won a gold medal at the Apimondia International Apicultural Congress in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Oman won the award for the production of Al Atm Honey which is considered best in terms of quality, physical and chemical specifications.
The competition which was held from September 27 to October 4, saw more than 700 participants, both individuals and companies from around the world.
Eng Hilal bin Mohammed bin Humaid al Waeli, director general of Royal Gardens and Farms said, 'We are pleased to express our happiness after accomplishing this achievement.'
Apimondia which marks its 120th anniversary this year, is one of the largest honey events in the world.
