Israeli army injures 12 Palestinians in Ramallah


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Oct 6 (KUNA) -- Twelve Palestinians were injured on Friday, during clashes with the Israeli occupying forces in Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood south of Ramallah.

A statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that their crew transported some of the injured to the hospital and treated others on the spot.

Moreover, the clashes started after the Israeli forces have entered Ramallah, where the soldiers have sieged a residential building.

A number of eyewitnesses told KUNA that the Israeli forces have detained two Palestinians while withdrawing from the city.

Earlier today, another Palestinian was injured after some Israeli settlers attacked his car with rocks while using the road connecting Nablus city with Ramallah. (end) nk.mys
