Carnegie Mellon Qatar welcomes new faculty members
Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) welcomes nine new faculty members for the 2017-18 academic year.
Michael Trick, who is also the Harry B and James H Higgins Professor of Operations Research at Carnegie Mellon University, was appointed dean of CMU-Q on September 1.
He is joined by: Nesrine Affara, assistant teaching professor, biological sciences; Peter Boatwright, Allan D. Shocker Professor of Marketing and New Product Development; Milton Cofield, distinguished service professor, business management (not pictured); Aaron Jacobson, visiting assistant professor, history; Drew B. Mallory, visiting assistant professor, organizational behavior (not pictured); Taeyong Park, visiting assistant teaching professor, statistics, Nui Vatanasakdakul, visiting associate professor, information systems; and Mohamed Zayed, associate teaching professor, physics.
