Saudi Aramco to expand to India

(MENAFN) Oil titan company Saudi Aramco will open an Indian supplementary in the following week, in order to reach the increasing demand and to invest in the world's third biggest consumer, three sources said.

Aramco will be investing in plants in major markets to keep customers ahead of its initial public offering next year, and the India unit will look for opportunities to take risks cleansing and petrochemical projects in the country.

In competition with Iraq to be India's number one oil supplier, Saudi Aramco Chief Executive Amin Nasser will establish Aramco Asia India during a visit to New Delhi next week for attending the HIS-CERA conference along with OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo on Sunday.
