CDD chief meets UAE Ambassador
(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah on Wednesday met with UAE Ambassador to Jordan Matar Saif Shamsi and discussed cooperation between the two countries' civil defence departments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meeting focused on training in various fields. Bazaiah stressed the CDD's keenness to serve the civil defence personnel of the UAE, noting that Jordan has one of the 'most advanced' civil protection apparatuses in the region. For his part, Shamsi commended the advanced level of the Jordanian CDD.
