King meets Indonesian foreign minister


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received Indonesian Foreign Minister Ritno Marsudi and discussed ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, according to a Royal Court statement.

The meeting covered the latest regional developments, especially the efforts aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Mideast peace process, in addition to regional and international efforts to combat terrorism.

The meeting was attended by the Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, the King's Office Director Jafar Hassan, the Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Andy Rachimianto and the delegation accompanying the Indonesian foreign minister.

Also on Wednesady Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with his Indonesian counterpart and discussed various issues, including bilateral ties and the Palestinian cause.

Safadi and Marsudi stressed the importance of meetings of the joint committee that will be held next year.
