Carolyn Johnston


(MENAFN- The Conversation) I arrived in Australia in May 2017 to teach health law and ethics at Deakin University. Before that I was Senior Lecturer at Kingston University and Adviser in Medical law and Ethics at King's College London, School of Medicine. I have a particular in interest in clinical ethics support; I was Project Officer for the UK Clinical Ethics Network (2002-2005) a member of three Clinical Ethics Committees in London and I established the interdisciplinary Student Clinical Ethics Committee at King's College London.
My research interests include advance directives, best interests decision making for adults who lack capacity and adolescent autonomy.
