Jordanian FM, Palestinian counterpart discuss peace efforts
AMMAN, 4th October, 2017 (WAM) -- Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, has discussed on the telephone with Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al Malki, efforts to re-launch Middle East peace talks to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict according to the two-state solution.
According to the Jordan News Agency, the ministers pledged to work closely in support of efforts underway to launch serious and effective negotiations leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on pre-June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, as the only avenue to solve the conflict.
