Abu Dhabi, Muharram 12, 1439, Oct 2, 2017, SPA -- Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received here today Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, and members of the official delegation accompanying him.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Iraqi Foreign Minister and discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a way that serves the mutual interests of the UAE and Iraq.
They also discussed developments in both Iraqi and Arab arenas, as well as the current efforts to resolve crises in the region and overcome challenges such as extremism and terrorism. They stressed the importance of co-ordination and solidarity among Arab countries to safeguard the region's security and stability. They also touched on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
