JEDDAH, 3rd October, 2017 (WAM) -- General Secretariat of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has expressed strong condemnation of the terrorist bombing which took place on Monday in the Bahraini capital of Manama. The attack targeted security forces while carrying out their duties, resulting in injuries among them.
Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, OICSecretary-General of the Organisation, expressed solidarity with the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain in its response to all acts of terrorism aimed at destabilising its security and stability, terrorising innocent civilians and damaging public property.
The Secretary-General emphasised the organisation's principled and firm position, which strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
