Oman- Burjeel Medical Centre marks World Heart Day


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Burjeel Medical Centre, Azaiba celebrated World Heart Day on September 30 to promote and build awareness among the public regarding the importance of having a healthy heart.

The day was celebrated by offering free cardiology consultation for the public and a health talk was given by Dr. Maged Abouelseoud, specialist - Cardiology, to raise awareness about supporting a healthy heart lifestyle.

On the occasion of World Heart Day, Healthy Heart Package was introduced for the patients, which acts as a preventive step to diagnose the early signs of any heart diseases.

'The number of cases has been steadily rising as there is widespread disregard for the key risk factors,' said Dr Abouelseoud.
