Kuwait condemns terrorist bombings in Somalia, Afghanistan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- An official source at the Foreign Ministry has expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation of the terrorist bombings that hit the Somali Capital of Mogadishu and Afghani Capital of Kabul and the city of Kandahar which left several people dead and injured.

The source stated that Kuwait stands by the side of the Somali and Afghani governments and supports their efforts and measures to maintain their countries' security and stability.

The source reemphasized Kuwait's principled and firm stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The source urged the international community to exert all required efforts to rid the world from the evils of this scourge.

The source extended Kuwait's sincere condolences to the governments of Somalia and Afghanistan as well as relatives of the victims and wished the injured people speedy recovery. (end) msa.ibi
