Oman- Seeb Club opens indoor swimming pool


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) An indoor swimming pool was inaugurated by Seeb Club last week in its premises. It is the first indoor pool built by a club in the sultanate and is part of the club's initiatives to involve public private partnership (PPP) to develop and promote sports.

Taha al Kishry, the Oman Swimming Association (OSA) president, inaugurated a ceremony to mark the launch of the pool activities in the presence of H H Sayyid Shihab al Said, the chairman of the club, and other officials. Yousuf al Wahaibi, the club's vice-chairman, told Muscat Daily that 'the pool is open to all members of public and there would be reasonable charges to utilise it'
