(MENAFN) For the first time ever, the Automaker Hyundai Motor from the Republic of Korea opens a big data center far away from their home country, insouthwest China in Guizhou Province,Guian New Area.
The center will work with China Unicom,one of the largest Chinese telecom operators,to develop Internet-based, intelligent data exchange services that are tailored to the Chinese customers needs. According to the provincial commerce bureau, the center will provide data support for self-driving cars.
Hyundai motor center is not the first data center in the area;Guian New Area is already home to several big data centers for tech giants, including Apple, Tencent, and Huawei, however; Hyundai Motor is the first automaker to set up a big data center in the area.
