LuLu Group unveils 'We Love Qatar' promo
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) LuLu Group has once again organised the ‘We Love Qatar' promotional campaign across all its outlets in Qatar.
Through this promotion, LuLu Group aims to help customers 'identify and experience the richness of Qatari food products and agricultural produce, thereby shedding light on the heritage of the country, it has said in a press statement.
The Group has been holding this campaign every year since 2010.
Mubarak Feraish M Salem, member of the Central Municipal Council and head of the Finance Committee, 15th District, inaugurated the campaign by cutting the ribbon at LuLu Hypermarket, Al Gharafa, in the presence of Mohamed Althaf, director of LuLu Group International, a number of distinguished Qatari nationals, dignitaries from various public and private sector departments/organisations and senior officials from LuLu Group - Qatar region.
'LuLu Group has always been an ardent promoter of Qatari food products and agricultural produce, and almost all prominent Qatari brands, such as Dandy, Al Maha, Baladna, Ghadeer, Qbake, Athba, Rawa, qfm, Rayyan, Arwa, Qatarat, Qatar Pafki, Munah, Pearl, Jawharh, Flora, Gourmet, Jerry Smith, Agrico Qatar, Paramount Agricole, Ocean Fish, Napoli Bakeries, Al Waha, Korean Bakeries, Parline, Ghazlan, Al Manhal, Dana, Aqua Gulf, Safa, Sidra, Jannah, Lusail, Dallah, Doha, Napico and Qatar Pharma TDM, are on regular display, the statement noted.
LuLu Group has a 'long-standing close tie-up with local farmers and has also been the focal point in marketing the local agricultural produce for many years.
While the Group has been promoting Qatari products and farm produce for many years, it has been concentrating more in this regard since June 5 (when the blockade started) as a social and economical commitment to the nation.
Speaking on the initiative, an official spokesman of LuLu Group said: 'It has been a great journey these past 17 years since starting our operations in the State of Qatar. We will continue to offer the best of services to our valued customers.
There are manifold benefits for consumers as well by supporting local companies and farms.
