(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Security officers arrested a Brazilian traveler on Thursday at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, in possession of 6 kilograms of cocaine.
The 27-year old suspect arrived on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil and was in transit to Ghana's capital city, Accra, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of National security. Law enforcement officers found carefully wrapped drugs inside his suitcase during a routine search.
The defendant was put in custody while an investigation is underway.
