Favourite Enable is set to head the field for today's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly.

The three-year old filly, could give jockey Frankie Dettori a record fifth win in Europe's richest horse race.

Enable, trained by John Gosden, was supplemented on Wednesday morning and a total of 20 runners have been declared for the €5m race, with seven trained by popular Irishman Aidan O'Brien.

The Qatar Arabian World Cup (Gr1 PA) will see 19 horses in it's 10th edition of the race tomorrow and the most prominent contenders are Ebraz (Amer), Tayf (Amer), who beat him in Goodwood, and Yazeed (Munjiz), second in the prep-race.

The list of the Total Prix Marcel Boussac Critérium des Pouliches (Gr1) came down to 10 on Wednesday morning, before the due date for the probable runners. Four fillies are trained by Aidan O'Brien, including the trio of the Moyglare Stud Stakes (Gr1), Happily (Galileo), Magical (Galileo) and September (Deep Impact). After the forfeits, the Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère (Gr1) is once again very full, with seventeen 2yos (including three Aidan O'Brien trained fillies, also entered in the Marcel Boussac) still on the list.

As usual, the Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp Longines was filled up again, and 18 horses stayed entered after the forfeits and the Prix de l'Opéra Longines (Gr1) still counts 20 candidates.
Meanehile, the rain announced for tomorrow in Chantilly forced Limato (Tagula) to step out after winning last year's edition of the Qatar Prix de la Forêt (Gr1). After the forfeits, the race still counts 18 candidates.

The prestigious Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is a highlight of France's sporting and cultural calendar, now in its second year at Chantilly.

Europe's most prestigious race, a one-and-a-half-mile test of speed and stamina for three-year-olds and above, commands a purse of €5m, with a first prize of €2,857,000 ($3.3). That makes it the third-richest horse race in the world, behind the Pegasus World Cup and the Dubai World Cup.
