Uzbekistan to regulate trade at stock exchanges, exhibitions, fairs

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution on the regulation of trading at stock exchanges, exhibitions and fairs, the website of the president said.
In accordance with the document, settlements through clearing houses of stock exchanges and fairs can only be carried out regarding transactions registered at stock exchanges and fairs.
In addition, it is prohibited to carry out operations for the assignment of a monetary claim using funds in accounts in the clearing houses of stock exchanges and fairs.
Also, funds credited to the account of a non-resident seller in clearing houses of a commodities exchange or a fair for import contracts can be used solely for payment of export contracts, customs duties, court expenses and services directly related to the conclusion and execution of stock exchange contracts.
