EU Welcomes Saudi Supreme Order Allowing Saudi Woman to Drive Vehicles

Brussels, Muharram 8, 1439, Sep 28, 2017, SPA -- The European Union (EU) has welcomed the Saudi Supreme Order allowing Saudi women to drive vehicles.
In a press statement, a spokesman for the European External Action Service said that the EU welcomes this step.
EU Special Representative for Human Rights Stavros Lambrinidis also said in a statement that this decision is an important step towards enhancing the woman's role in the Kingdom.
