Amman, Sept.28 (Petra) -- Autumn conditions will continue to prevail Thursday and Friday in much parts of the country with daytime temperatures reaching 27 degrees Celsius in the capital and northern regions, while they will register 35 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Mercury levels will cool down at night reaching 16 in Amman and the surrounding areas, ranging from14-15 in the northern and southern parts and sliding to 23 in Aqaba, the JMD said.
Moderate conditions and cloudy morning with a chance of some drizzle, mainly in the northern regions, are forecast on Saturday. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust at times, especially in the eastern and southern parts of the country, the JMD added.
