QFA bans Al Duhail coach for two games


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Doha: Qatar Football Association's (QFA) disciplinary committee has suspended Al Duhail head coach DjamelBelmadi for two games from the QNB Stars League and fined him QR50,000 for unsporting behaviour towards the fourth official during his side's 2-0 win over Al Arabi last week.
The committee also decided to warn Al Sadd director Abdullah al-Berik for unsporting behaviour during his team's match against Al Sailiya. Al Duhail's Ismail Mohammed was also warned and fined QR10,000 for unsporting behaviour.
In addition, the committee fined Qatar SC QR2,000 for fielding a player with two different shirt numbers against Al Markhiya. The committee also suspended Al Wakrah's defender Muhannad Darjal for two matches and fined him QR5,000 for violent play against during the game against Mesaimeer on Wednesday in the second division.
