JAFZA: AED 600m in profits in H1- 2017


(MENAFN) Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority declared that it achieved a 2 percent profit increase in the first half of 2017.

According to the JAFZA proclamation the total profits in the first half of 2017 reached AED 601.3M comparing to the AED 588.3M in the year-ago phase. But, the revenues have fallen 0.2 percent to AED 975M in opposition to AED 977.6M in the first half of the last year.

The general and managerial expenses in H1-2017 also turn down 9 percent to AED 83.4M, in opposition of AED 91.4M in the same phase of 2016, as the companies in the free zones raised 12 percent to 271 corporations, comparing to 242 corporations in the last year's period.
