EgyptAir hangs flights to Iraq because of Kurdish referendum.


(MENAFN) The company of EgyptAir has declared that they have determined to suspend flights to Erbil until further notice, and that the decision has been requested by the civil aviation authority of Iraq.

The results of the Kurdish independence referendum have demonstrated that 92.73 percent of voters supported independence.

Iraq's government refused the referendum seeing that it is illegal, and many Arab countries have expressed their worry over the potential consequences of the Kurdish referendum, as they have warned that it can affect Iraq.
