Egypt pays EGP74bn in lost global arbitration cases


(MENAFN) Egypt has paid more than EGP74bn from its state treasury due to lost global arbitration cases in the last decade, as proclaimed the Intl Academy for Meditation and Arbitration.

Furthermore, IAMA predicts that the Arab region paid a whole of USD20bn in the form of charges in 700 different cases tried and lost in global courts in the past decade.

Accordingly, arbitration requests confirmed to the Intl Chamber of Commerce in Paris have surpassed 100 annually.
