China to impose new safety, quality systems for imports, exports

(MENAFN) China had improved its early warning and response systems to ensure the safety and quality of exported and imported goods.

As the country will set up a national risk assessment center for exported and imported goods, an expert committee and national labs will be established to evaluate the quality of products.

According to guidelines issued by the State Council, a four-tier color-coded warning system will be developed for quality safety, with a red alert for the highest level of term of severity.
