Indonesia's economy marks 5.1% growth in 2017

(MENAFN) According to the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Indonesia's economy is expected to post 5.1% economic growth during the year, with a positive economic outlook in the future due to current massive infrastructure development.

Head of ADB Indonesia Representative Office Winfried Wicklein said: "With higher allocation for public infrastructure, coupled with improving investments in private sector, Indonesia's economic expansion would continue next year."

However, the ADB's estimations on Indonesia's growth were lower than 5.17% targeted by the government this year and between 5.5% and 6.1% for next year.
