(MENAFN) The Ministry of Petroleum is aiming to install 12 projects in order to develop gas fields at USD17.5bn, next to finishing eight refining projects at USD8.3bn.
Additionally, a new offer for gold exploration and excavation in a number of areas in the Eastern Desert will be provided before the end of the year.
Accordingly, Ministry of Petroleum plans to boost the mineral wealth sector amid the development of new plans to enhance the value added.
The fields of Zohr, northern Alexandria and Noras are amid the most important projects that will enhance natural gas production by 50 percent.
