New Delhi, Sept 26 (KNN)Instilling the charge of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise body- Federation of Industries, Jammu (FOIJ), Ratan Dogra was made the chairman of the federation recently.

In his maiden interaction as the chairman, Dogra sought the whole-hearted cooperation of all segments of FOIJ in running its affairs.

He further assured that he would do all he can at his disposal to make sure that no sector of the industry is left out.

Commenting upon the biggest issue surrounding the MSMEs of the state. He assured to accord topmost priority and impetus to ensure the uninterrupted continuity of various fiscal incentives and exemption in the GST regime to MSME units across in the State.

He had been associated with FOIJ during different crucial moments including the recent delegation level meet with the Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu in New Delhi regarding extension in the Central Govt. special fiscal package.

Dogra further assured that he will take up the pending issues pertaining to the MSME sector including the conversion of leasehold land to free hold of the plots allotted to local entrepreneurs in various industrial estates and areas so as to provide them additional avenues of financial regeneration.

He was accorded the new post in the presence of other members of the industry body including Lalit Mahajan (Co-chairman FOIJ), Romesh Badial (Co-chairman FOIJ), Ajit Bawa (Co-chairman FOIJ), Devinder Verma (Co-chairman FOIJ), Jatinder Aul (Co-chairman FOIJ), Ajay Langer (Secretary General FOIJ), and S.B.
