(MENAFNEditorial) WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --Morocco Days (The Business Edition)-Gateway to Africahosts a delegation of Moroccan regional officials on September 27 and 28 in Washington, D.C. to participate in special side events on Capitol Hill and at the National Press Club, as part of a festival presented by the Moroccan American Network and the Moroccan Center for Peace and Sustainable Development.
The festival, to be held September 28-October1, celebrates the Washington-U.S.-Morocco-Africa connection throughbusiness, media, and cultural heritage.

Delegation members, representing several regions of Morocco and prime sectors for investment, will address tourism (including medical tourism), industry, energy, small business, and Morocco's Vision 2030.
Regions include the north (Tangier), the south (Laayoune), and Casablanca. Representatives from the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy, SOFINAM, the Moroccan Office of Tourism, and the Moroccan Federation of Chambers of Commerce are participating.

Asma Graimiche, President of the Moroccan Center for Peace and Sustainable Development and CEO of First Poly Production, is co-producing the festival.
MAN and MCPSD are working together to increase understanding, build relationships, and provide for networking opportunities, focussing on Morocco as the gateway to investment in Africa.
Morocco ranks third in the top ten African countries, behind Egypt and South Africa, according to Rand Merchant Bank's report entitled, "Where to Invest in Africa 2018."
