Four earthquakes hit southern Philippines
MANILA, 24th September, 2017 (WAM) -- Four earthquakes ranging from magnitude 4 to 5.4 shook the Bukidnon and Lanao del Sur areas in the southern Philippines early on Sunday morning.
The strongest tremor was felt at a lesser degree in other parts of Mindanao, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, Phivolcs, said. The first quake, which measured 4.4 magnitude, struck some 3 kilometers north of Wao, Lanao de Sur, Phivolcs.
