Saudi- Kingdom confirms to General Assembly of United Nations its firm stance against terrorism, extremism 3 New York

The kingdom called upon the Myanmar government to respect its obligations and to protect human rights without discrimination. The kingdom will continue to provide humanitarian support to those affected Rohingyas, the kingdom said, adding that recently, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud allocated $ 15 million to the Rohingyas. The kingdom said that it hosted more than half a million of them, noting the personal contacts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the neighboring countries of Myanmar, including his close contact with the sister government of Bangladesh, to open the crossings to them and providing aid to the Rohingya refugees by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
On Syria, the kingdom called for a political solution based on the Geneva Declaration and UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
On Iran, the kingdom said that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism adding that Iran must abide by international laws, the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the affairs of States.
The kingdom asserted that it is keen on supporting the developing countries adding that its support exceeded 0.7% of GDP and benefited about 100 countries, making the kingdom one of the largest donors.
