Saudi Chargé d'Affaires to Australia Inaugurates exhibition on Global Center for Combating Extremism

Canberra, Muharram 04, 1439, September 24, 2017, SPA --Saudi Charge d'Affaires to Australia, the Plenipotentiary Minister Mishaal Bin Hamdan Al-Ruqi and the Director of Protocol at Australian Department of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Lindell Sachs have opened an exhibition to brief the people on the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology "Etidal (Moderation)" and the Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism.
In a statement to the to Saudi Press agency, Al-Ruqi pointed to the international attention received by the Center since it was inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh last May, which reflects the role of the Kingdom and its efforts in working hard for a free world from terrorism and extremism and their destructive effects on peoples and societies.
The exhibition includes presentations, publications and documentary films that show the objectives of the Center and the efforts of the Kingdom and its contribution to the fight against terrorism, the formation of the Islamic Military Alliance and the maintenance of international peace and security.
