Profits of EGP1.1bn for AMOC


(MENAFN) During 2016/17, Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) achieved profits of 1.1bn.

Chairman of the company, Chemist Amr Mostafa, said that the company has provided part of the petroleum products needs of the local market worth EGP 8.5bn, while producing 1.4 million tonnes of diesel, naptha, butane and fuel oil, as well as 185,000 tonnes of oils and waxes.

About 61,000 tonnes of candles worth USD50 million were exported by the company as well as 65,000 fuel oil worth USD18 million.
