Oman- CMA to host ME Healthcare Insurance Conference


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Capital Market Authority (CMA) will host the 11th Middle East Healthcare Insurance Conference organised by Middle East Insurance Review, from Tuesday to Wednesday with wide participation by healthcare services, insurance and reinsurance professionals.

The event will be held under the patronage of H E Dr Ahmed Obaid al Saidi, Minister of Health.

According to a press release, the conference will focus on health insurance and how to benefit from it and will review the regional and global trends as well as formulation of future vision for best implementation of health insurance. It will also focus on enhancing knowledge and awareness of policyholders to get quality health services.

The conference will review regulatory issues in healthcare insurance and medical insurance in the Middle East and global trends, the impact of digital technology on the health sector, the role of compulsory health insurance and transformation toward universal health coverage.

CMA hosts the conference as part of its overall vision of the insurance sector as enabler of economic development, and as a tool to mitigate and manage the risks and deeply rooted conviction of the future of health insurance.
