(MENAFN) Academy Award winning actor Colin Firth has officially became an Italian citizen after getting his second citizenship other than his first British one.
The British actor who portrayed King George VI of Great Britain, "is married to Citizen from our country and has often declared his love for our land", said Italy's Interior Ministry.
"We never really thought much about our different passports", said Firth, and added that he would remain a dual national, where his Italian-born wife would also be seeking British Nationality.
