Neanderthal brains 'developed more slowly'

(MENAFN) A new study showed that Neanderthal brains grew more slowly than ours.

An examination of a Neanderthal child's skeleton showed that its brain was still growing, while other brains of modern human children are fully shaped.

So far, and unlike other apes and more primitive humans, it had been considered that we were the only species whose brains developed really slowly.

This is another proof that this now extinct human was not more violent and primitive than our species.
