(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: The sentences renewal judge imposed travel ban on an American man and ordered his release on KD 500 bail, reports Al-Anba daily.
The American was accused of trafficking in drugs after 4kg parcel of the contraband was seized from his home. He denied the charges and said a compatriot working at Camp Arifjan had asked him to keep the parcel until his return from leave, and he was unaware of its content. Defense lawyer Dalal Al-Mulla said her client has been residing in Kuwait for 7 years and never been convicted in any case, while blood sample showed no traces of illicit drugs.
