Kuwait reiterates commitment to UN Charter


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW YORK, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Thursday reiterated his country's commitment to the UN Charter as well as importance of international cooperation to address current crises.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made the remarks during a working lunch, called by the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov for representatives of six countries who won the non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for 2018-19.

The senior officials discussed means of coordination in a way that enable their countries honor their responsibilities as non-permanent members for the next two years. (end) bs.asf.gb
