Kuwaiti oil price up 19 cents to USD 53.50 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up on Friday 19 cents to USD 53.50 per barrel compared to USD 53.31 per barrel on Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.

In world markets, oil prices rose yesterday following conclusion of the Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC).

OPEC and other oil producers said they would not take a decision until January on whether to extend their pact to curb oil production.(end).
