Somalia's breaking with Qatar is a mistake


(MENAFN) After Somalia cut their ties with Qatar, the government rebuked its three semi-autonomous regions on Thursday,saying they should have kept their ties on hold during the Gulf nation's despute with fellow Arab states.

"Only the government had the authority to speak on foreign affairs", Somalia's federal government said.

The breaking with Qatar happend after Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt accused
Doha of supporting terrorism and Iran, cutting political and trade ties on June 5.
