Trump Praises Nonexistent African Country 'Nambia'

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – US President Donald Trump appeared to invent a new African state, "Nambia," during a lunch with African leaders in New York on Wednesday.

While listing achievements of various countries of the continent, Trump praised "Nambia's" health system, saying that it is "increasingly self-sufficient."

This is not the first time that Trump has made mention of this fictional state. The president did it once before during a meeting with leaders from Ghana, Namibia, and Uganda.

Social media users were quick to detect the error, taking to Twitter to criticize Trump and try to figure out which country the former reality TV host was referring to: Namibia, Zambia, or Gambia. Some pointed out that "Nambia" could be a combination of the three.
