At least 21 people drowned in Turkey's Black Sea coast


(MENAFN) Twenty-one people drowned and more than 15 were missing after a fishing boat carrying migrants sank off Turkey's Black Sea coast.

Moreover, 40 migrants were saved but search and rescue efforts were under way to find seven to nine people missing in the incident off the Kefken district.

In addition, Turkey has emerged as a hub for migrants from trouble zones around the world involving Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, some 834 migrants were caught and 10 smugglers detained in seven Black Sea incidents between mid-August and early Sep.
