(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines intended to purchase 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, as Boeing announced on its website.
Both sides signed a letter of intent for the deal which is estimated to be worth USD11bn when closed.
"The 787 Dreamliner is the most technologically advanced airplane in the world, our intent to purchase these Dreamliners and to meet the demand for wide-body airplanes, further strengthen our fleet capacity and to enhance passenger satisfaction.", a Boeing press release said.
